CARE (Coordinated Accelerator Research in Europe) project Kick-Off meeting (1/3)

This 3-day meeting is aimed at launching an accelerator R&D program in Europe with financial support from the European Community. The CARE program has been initiated by ESGARD (European Steering Group on Accelerator Research and Development) established jointly by several large laboratories and ECFA in September 2002 with the objective of promoting European efforts on accelerator R&D and submitting bids to the EC. The first day of the meeting is dedicated to parallel sessions of the different activities taking place in the CARE project. The 2nd and 3rd days are devoted to public presentations of the entire CARE program.
