The seconds LHC Computing Grid (LCG) workshop will be held at CERN on March 23/24 2004.
The goal of the plenary sessions is to inform the broad physics community about LCG, Grid experience and plans of other HEP experiments and the evolution of Grid Technology.
There will be two half-days of working group meetings. Here the goal is to make progress with the active particpation of all participants on strategically important topics in the LCG, especially in the fields of Grid Deployment, Fabrics issues at CERN and at remote sites and Grid Middleware and integration with applications.
The workshop will start on Tuesday morning with plenary sessions. Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning parallel working group sessions will be organised. There will be a welcome reception on Tuesday evening, after the sessions. On Wednesday afternoon summaries and outlook will be presented in plenary. The workshop will finish by 17:00, Wednesday, March 24, 2004.
The workshop is open to all interested people. The plenary sessions will be on VRVS. There is no registration fee for the workshop.
