Subject: Proposed agenda for the LCG meeting with the referees on Monday 6 February
There will be a meeting of LCG with the LHCC referees on Monday 6 February at 12:00-14:00. This is currently scheduled as a telephone meeting, as it is not in the LHCC week (due to the clash with CHEP). However, Francesco Forti may be at CERN in which case we would meet in a room - but without any sandwiches.
 
The MB had decided that LCG should be represented by a subset of the MB. There have been objections to this by one experiments, and so I propose that we revert to the previous (phase 1) procedure, with all members of the MB invited.
 
The following is the draft agenda, after discussion with Francesco Forti. We should agree on the agenda and speakers this afternoon. My proposals are included.
  • Castor 2 progress - 30 minutes
      --  Status of the SRM 2.1 development - Jan van Eldik
      --  Status of migration of LHC production to Castor 2 - Olof Barring
      --  750 MB/sec data recording milestone - Bernd Panzer
      --  ATLAS Tier-0 tests - foils (and speaker?) provided by ATLAS
  • Grid service metrics - 20 minutes
      --  proposal for base reliability measures to be followed by the LHCC     - Ian Bird
  • SC3 expectations and results - 30 minutes 
      --  summary of the experiment and site presentations at the January GDB; summary
          of SC3 throughput test results - Kors Bos 
  • Planning process for Service Challenge 4 - 10 minutes - Les Robertson
  • Discussion - 30 minutes
