      WSDL, WS-I, and Tools 2h
A discussion of the successes/difficulties with WSDL, WS-I, and the language-specific tools used to generate bindings. Cal can summarize the results from the tests he and Meb have been doing. Middleware folks can give their experience with using these tools in anger. The result of this discussion should be clear indication of the priorities and problems encountered. If further tests are necessary, a small subgroup should work to resolve outstanding issues.

      Common APIs/Future Standards 1h
There will be a set of APIs shared between services: "getVersion", delegation, etc. The discussion should revolve around these and any similar common APIs which are being considered. This leads natually to a discussion of the "common APIs" which will likely be necessary from future standards. Abdeslem and Peter had a discussion of WS-Addressing on the PTF list. Abdeslem perhaps can elaborate the benefits of this and we can all discuss the level of support in the tools and timescales for this to be available.

Use Case with gLite APIs 1h 15m
I would like to examine two use cases using the APIs given in the design document. One is the simple job submission (hello world) and the other is a job submission with data requirements. We should start from the existing testcases for these and look at the service interactions with the gLite services. This proved instructive in the EDG ATF; hopefully the concrete test cases will help focus the discussion.
