- A2rchi (LLM to answer forum posts)
- Olivier: two places to look, forum and Mattermost
- Jonas: only looking at Mattermost might miss posts that have one (unrelevant) answer
- on "up-to-date" information: A2rchi provides the ROOT information, would be too niche out-of-the-box
- Olivier: which public documentation? Ludovico: reference guide, working on feeding with past forum posts
- Lorenzo: should remove old messages from Mattermost channel
- Olivier: "assign" drafts to relevant experts
- Vassil: support for the proposal, this is where technology is going; expose to users and post if users accept?
- Vassil: let users vote if useful
- Philippe: post to users with a link to draft answer, make it clear it's a draft
- Olivier: initial user question may be incomplete; Ludovico: instruct machine to not waste time in case of insufficient data
- Releases
- Danilo: proposal for Scenario B, with release for data taking in May
- Vassil: doubt whether we should release ROOT with the latest LLVM
- Danilo: split proposal in two; now discuss May release with LLVM 16
- (no objection)
- Vassil: want to ship PowerPC backend in May release with LLVM 16
- Shift handover:
- everything is green
- CI now fully driven by GitHub
- Meeting summaries:
- PPP: Danilo presented "objectification" for physics analyses; proposal to move on with four-vectors
- CMS CAT Hackathon: (see slides); all action items already in PoW
- TBB 2020 upgrade: ask Giulio for ALICE, otherwise go ahead
