Introduction to developing Grid applications on Grid-Ireland

Description
The purpose of this event is to introduce researchers to Grid Computing, the national infrastructure Grid-Ireland, and the international EGEE grid. The course gives experience of the current middleware during practicals using both Grid-Ireland and the GILDA training testbed, as provided by INFN/University of Catania and partners. This agenda may be subject to minor alteration.

        The talk describes the major services provided by the EGEE grid: Authorisation and Authentication Information Services Data Managament Job submission "Job Description Language" is described. This is used to specify the requirements of jobs to be submitted to the EGEE Grid.
